What is the cost of summer and what is included?

Are there payment plan options for my Season Player Fees?
Yes. Upon receiving the Roster Invite email, a payment link will be provided. On the final registration checkout page will be two options to either pay in full or payment plan. The dates of the payment plan are listed on the dropdown of the payment plan selection with dates and amounts in which your account will be auto-drafted.
How much is the uniform and team gear package?
Uniform and gear packages range from $350 to $500:
- First-year position players: Includes full uniform, custom wood bat, helmet, bag, and batting gloves.
- Returning players: Includes everything except a helmet and bag.
- Pitchers Only (POs): Includes uniform, bag, shorts, and shirt options.
When do I order my uniform and team gear package?
- Summer Season: Immediately. Orders must be completed through our Marucci Locker Room store within (2) weeks after the Roster Invite has been accepted.
- Fall Season: No order necessary. Power Baseball wears one of the uniform tops and the hat from the summer season. Therefore, returning players from the summer season will wear the uniform they already have. Players who did not play with Power Baseball in the summer season, will have a uniform distributed to them after their roster invite for the fall season is complete. This information will be communicated to everyone directly on the Fall Season Roster Invite.
How many tournaments does Power Baseball play?
- Summer season: 6 events
- Memorial Day Weekend generally opens the Summer Season with all teams completing their final event no later than the last week of July.
- Fall season: 3 events
- The Fall Season is shorter due to players having weekly responsibilities to their high school program and due to the fact that the major tournament companies run their event schedule per the NCAA D1 Recruiting Calendar open contact period.
Do players receive a recruiting video for every season?
No, recruiting videos are provided only for uncommitted players during the Summer Season. Content is captured during the January tryout. No recruiting videos are available for the Fall Season
Where are the recruiting videos posted?
Recruiting videos are posted on Power Baseball’s YouTube channel, starting in mid-March and continuing throughout the Summer Season.
How much does the fall season cost?
- Position players: Around $1,000.
- Pitchers Only (POs): Around $625.
What travel expectations should I anticipate?
Older teams (e.g., 17u) travel more frequently for recruiting exposure, while Marucci teams at 15u and 16u also travel more than others at their respective levels.
Power Baseball Foundation FAQ
What is the Power Baseball Foundation?
The Power Baseball Foundation is a nonprofit arm that assists players and families through fundraising, financial aid, and providing donations to high school and youth programs.
What fundraising opportunities are available through the Power Baseball Foundation?
Once per year, the Power Baseball Foundation offers the Player Sponsorship Program which is a crowdfunding campaign in which 90% of the funds raised go directly to that player’s Summer Season fees. The remaining 10% stays in house with PBF to build the Financial Aid Scholarship pool.
How do I apply and how do I know if I qualify for Power Baseball Foundation’s Financial Aid Scholarship grants?
February – April of every calendar year is the application window to apply. All applicants must fill out an application complete with the previous year’s tax information. A third party financial read is compiled and sent to the Power Baseball Foundation board of advisors to review and qualify applicants for approval of funds.

What value does playing for Power Baseball bring to me?
Power Baseball has a high recruitment rate, with over 70% of alumni moving on to college baseball. They follow a “More For Most” approach, helping players across all levels—from MLB draft picks to D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO.
Who will be coaching my team?
Coaching assignments, specific to each team and season, are included with each player’s roster invite. The staff consists of current and former high school and collegiate coaches.
What does the partnership with Marucci mean for me?
Power Baseball, as a Marucci Franchise Club member, gives players access to a 24/7/365 discount store offering Marucci, Victus, Lizard Skins, and Baum products at reduced prices.
Who runs Power Baseball?
Power Baseball is owned and operated by Brian Dempsey, Jesse Marlo, and Eric Lassiter.
How long has Power Baseball been around?
Power Baseball was established in the fall of 2016.
What is the mission/purpose of Power Baseball?
Power Baseball’s mission is built on Transparency, Advocacy, and Education:
- Transparency: Honest feedback to players, families, and others.
- Advocacy: Actively supporting players through recruiting.
- Education: Using years of experience to help families navigate the recruiting landscape.
Does Power Baseball have a youth program?
Power Baseball does not have a direct youth program in Florida but offers a Youth Affiliate Program. Click here to see details on the program and how to apply.

Tryouts FAQ
How do I register for a tryout?
Visit the Power Baseball website and follow the registration instructions. Be sure to complete your registration within the appropriate window to secure your spot.
When do I have to register to be involved in the tryout?
You can register during any of the following windows, but the earlier you sign up, the cheaper the price:
- Early Bird Window: $200
- Regular Registration Window: $225
- Late Registration Window: $250
What does each tryout day look like?
- Friday: Bullpens – Pitchers and catchers only.
- Saturday: Position player evaluations, including batting practice (BP), 60-yard dash, and defensive evaluations. Pitchers Only (POs) do not need to attend Saturday.
- Sunday: Live games.
How long do the tryouts usually last?
- Friday Night Bullpen: Pitchers should arrive 45 minutes before their scheduled bullpen time to properly warm up. Each bullpen consists of 15 pitches, and pitchers call their own pen. Every bullpen is livestreamed.
- Saturday Position Player Evaluations: There will be 3 groups, split up by grad class. The older the grad class starts around 8 am, the next oldest grad class starts around 11 am, and the youngest grad class starts around 1 pm.
- Exact times for each tryout are sent out the Thursday before the tryout begins. Arrival times vary tryout to tryout based on the quantity of players per grad class.Sunday Live Games: Live games will start at 8:30 am with each grad class on their own field. If there’s 40 or more pitchers that need to throw in a particular grad class, Power Baseball will have 2 games and will assign which players are in what game. These game assignments will be posted on the home page of www.powerbsb.com on Saturday after their Position Player Evaluations are completed.
What if I am not able to be there for my Friday bullpen?

When will I find out if I made the team?
Roster invites are sent via email as early as 48 hours after the tryout. They are sent in waves, and families will have 36 hours to pay the roster deposit or communicate their decision. All participants will receive post-tryout communication no later than one week after the tryout concludes.
What time should I arrive for the tryout?
Specific tryout times and details will be emailed out on Thursday, the week of the tryout. This information will also be posted on the home page of www.powerbsb.com for the entirety of the weekend.
What do I need to bring to the tryout?
Players will receive a Power Baseball tryout shirt at check-in and must wear it for the entire tryout weekend. Players should bring all of their own equipment and dress appropriately:
- Friday: Shorts, hat, and athletic shoes.
Saturday & Sunday: Full on-field baseball attire.
